Thanks for being interested in Finca Ometepe! We love it here and hope you do too!

This Eco-Farmhouse has one master bedroom with a king bed and AC, one smaller room with a queen bed and AC, and a large living room with a pull-out sofa. Both bedrooms have ever-changing spectacular views of Ometepe Island's two volcanoes. The house itself has a large living room with a pullout sofa and handmade rocking chairs, a full kitchen with a gas oven and stove, and a wrap-around porch with outdoor seating at a large family-style table. There is a fan in each room, and ceiling fans in central living areas. There is a roomy bathroom with a hot water shower, which is shared between the two bedrooms. Power is solar, and we try really hard to live off the grid. This means, however, that if you have to be a bit careful with your energy consumption. We do have an electric backup, but please remember that Ometepe is a windy island in a developing country, so sometimes the power goes out for short periods.
