About Finca Ometepe

Hanna and Hakan have been married for eons, since 1991 to be exact. Since their wedding, they have had loads of adventures, not only in raising four kids (three biological and one adopted) but also in work and free time. Both have enjoyed running their own business (Hakan: Forestry Consulting, Hanna: Veterinary House Calls), and have also kept founding and running a charity, SaveTheirSmiles, as well as traveling as time permits. They originally built the ranch as a place to heal and rest after charity work in the northern part of the country, but the house grew to love the plantains, and hence Finca Ometepe was born. They are happy to welcome you to their home and all its animals and hope you enjoy it as much as they do.
