Visit the Petroglyphs

A walking tour to the nearby petroglyphs and then on to Finca Magdalena to sample local organic coffee. Cost is $20 for a group up to 4 people. Additional $5 extra per person. Tour is 2 hours and the guide is fluent in English and very conversant in local history and ecology.

Casa Grande - Whole House

Whole house vacation rental. Master bedroom king bed and air conditioning, a second room with a queen bed and fan, and a large room with two bunks bed, one regular and one a full bed on the bottom and a twin on top. This room also has fans in it but can get a little hot, especially if all the beds are full. Thus, there are 9-bed spaces in total, plus 1-2 more on sofa beds if needed. There is one bathroom upstairs, and a delightful (really!) outhouse with a view of the volcano. There is also an outdoor shower, which is really nice.

Casita - Whole House

This darling little home sports a master bedroom with air conditioning, a comfortable queen bed and a smaller bed that can sleep two (if you are good friends! It is a Full). There is also a room with a regular bunk bed and two fans. The kitchen is well-stocked and looks out over the lake. The bathroom looks towards the slopes of the volcano and has a shower, though if you like, you can also use the outdoor shower, which is delightful.
